Why Do I need an Inspection?.............................Your home is probably the biggest purchase you will make. So it makes good sense to protect your investment. A professional inspection can not only tell you all you need to know about your new home but it may also alert you to potential problems and help you make informed desicions about future maintenance issues.
What do I need to look for?........................A well qualified and trained inspector can help point out all the things you should look for before buying your home. From things like missing roof shingles to water intrusion to mold issues in the basement.
When should I have an inspection done?............................The best time for a buyer of a property to have an inspection done is as soon as you think you want to buy this property. You should allow as much time as possible between getting your professional inspection report and closing . This will allow you time to study the report and have a better understanding of what you are buying.
What type of property requires an inspection?........................The truth is that you are not required to have an inspection. But to protect you from making expensive mistakes, any property you are buying should be inspected. From a Trailer in a Trailer park to a Shoping mall, A quality professional inspection will only enhance your knowledge and help protect your investment.
Who do I need to perform my inspection?.........................In the State of Colorado there are currently no licensing requirements, This makes choosing an inspector difficult as you cannot tell good from bad. The best  thing you can do is look for proof of experience and membership of a quality trade association.
DD inspections are Certified Master Inspectors. You must have done a thousand inspections to qualify for that certification. We are also members of InterNachi the largest inspection trade association in the world. We also display our credentials for all to see.
How much does an inspection cost?.....................There is no set price for an inspection. This is because of the vast number of variations in property sizes and property functions. We offer the most competitve prices around but all our pricing is done on an individual basis.
Should the seller of a property have an inspection done?...................Most definitely, We offer move in certified reports for sellers of properties. This a great asset to enable the seller to protect the price of their property. This is because the seller can have a report done and find out in advance about any issues that could affect the property. They can then remedy any problems and present the report along with any fixes to potenial buyers. We offer move-in certified yard signs for sellers who have had this done. This will show that they have taken the trouble to have their home inspected in advance of any sales.
